- Matric (50% marks) with two-year diploma in Office Management & Computer Applications, or
- Post-matric one-year ITI course in Stenography / NCVT Stenography (with 60% marks).

Data punching speed of 9,000 key depressions per hour (≈150 key depressions per minute or 30 words per minute).
